WOW!! Finally made it to the end of the campaign and what a STRONG finish!! Thank you thank you thank you to each of you who supported, shared, and backed. Time to get into the nitty-gritty of things.

If not, we'll do our best to answer your questions as soon as we can!

Our first priority is getting you your copies of the cookbook as soon as possible. We're in communication with a printing company who is very excited to get started once we have all of the details collected.

We've gotten samples of the Adventurer's Card and they're looking pretty good in my opinion, and the bookmarks are next to be made for samples. (I will show y'all pictures of both when I can.)

Just a note to answer some questions I've been seeing pop up more recently:

Only the backer's who supported the signed cookbook tier will receive a signed copy. But every backer will be receiving the free bookmark and adventurer's card prop. (With digital e-book backers receiving a digital version, and if you backed for both, you'll get both versions!)

This is honestly so wonderfully overwhelming and McKenzie and I couldn't be more grateful and blessed at this opportunity to share some of our magical fantasy world with you!

WOW!!

With the campaign ending in just a few short days, I just wanted to again thank you ALL who supported, backed, shared, and encouraged! This is going to be a busy but amazing summer!

Some updates!

1. I feel like I should clarify something from the last update! The Minthie's Library Bookmark and Adventurer's License will be free add-ons to every backer who backed a physical hardback copy! Not for those who just backed the digital version! So sorry if this confused anyone. If you would like to edit your pledge to include a hardback copy, you still have time to do so until the campaign ends on Saturday the 27th!

BUT speaking of those free add-ons! Here's a sneak peak to the backs of BOTH of the items that will be inserted into each hardback copy! The artwork was done by Hillary Bardin who did the cover art, food, and some of the portraits you will see in the book.

This is only the backs of the items, as we want to keep the front details a surprise for you to discover when you receive them. But they're meant to feel as in-world as possible. With the library card having a place to write your name and having a list of books from the library listed.

The adventurer's card will have all the permits and rights an adventurer needs while traveling and questing within the Crossroads signed and stamped by Quincy and the Lucky Gryphon.

2. Update TWO! Shipping and addresses and international packages!

We are currently working with BackerKit to help us provide surveys and keep in contact with everyone during the shipping and processing part of this journey.

For those unfamiliar, BackerKit is a third-party that specializes in organizing and collecting information for crowdfunding campaigns like this. Essentially with them, we'll send out surveys to collect your addresses and confirm your card information. (In case you move, or addresses change, you will also be able to adjust this easily as well.)

Now this following part will concern specifically my international friends.

Shipping costs for international packages can be crazy. What we have collected with your Kickstarter pledge was an estimate. With BackerKit, we'll be able to properly calculate shipping costs for your country. We will do our best to make sure you're not overcharged for international packages, but I wanted to forewarn that some locations may need a few dollars more to cover costs.

3. Update 3!

After the campaign ends, there will be a period of time when the printing will happen and then they'll be shipped to us to sign, package, and send out. It's looking like printing time will be about 3 weeks plus transit to us. This is also dependent on when the formatters can finish adding updates and metric measurements to the manuscript. But we'll keep you updated all through the process.

We're still confident we'll be able to have to book in your hands by September. (Send us all the good vibes to hopefully make it sooner.) But again, unforeseen things can happen. And we'll do our best to communicate those as they arise.

Greetings, dear Backers!

McKenzie and I have returned from our trip to Utah and in the midst of recovering, we're so SO grateful for the amount of support you have all shown to us through this campaign! We're going to be focusing on this campaign and making sure the cookbook gets to you on time!

Some updates,

1. We got a first draft from the formatters of Recipes & Regalings and we're so excited to show some of the pages off!

2. We're also adding metric measurements to the recipes for our international friends! This may make the formatting process a bit longer than expected, but not too much so to delay anything.

3. Again, we'll be collecting addresses for shipping in a survey when the campaign ends. So be on the lookout for that in your emails sometime after May 27th.

4. Regarding the Adventurer's License or Library Card Bookmark, McKenzie and I decided to just create BOTH and have both be a free little gift for every backer! We'll be posting WIP (work in progress) pictures as they come.

What. Is. Life?!?!

You are all amazing!! Thank you SO very much for believing in this product and also in me!

McKenzie and I are both so grateful and humbled by your generosity and support!!

I’m writing this from my Airbnb in Utah as we’re here hosting the Convergence with Evermore Park. But I wanted to jump on here real quick to garner y’all’s thoughts.

Because of the unbelievably massive amount of support, McKenzie and I wanted to offer a free add-in of sorts to all backers. (Digital only backers will receive it also in digital form.) Would you be more interested in a: 1. Minthie’s Library card inspired bookmark. Where you can write your name and feels like a vintage fantasy library card. 2. A Lucky Gryphon Adventurers License. Credit card size for wallets or to use as a bookmark.

All of this art would need to be produced, but we think we can get it done before the campaign ends and definitely have them printed and in the books when they ship.

Again, this is totally free for y’all and no extra charge! Just a small token thank you for the support! And something easy to add into the book so not to complicate shipping.
