Hello Dear Backers!!

It has been a whirlwind of packaging, shipping, and everything else that fulfillment entails. But McKenzie and I have been so overwhelmed by the amount of love you all are showing us and how much you're enjoying the book. Thank you so much!

To my ebook backers, thank you for your patience! It really meant a lot. You should find an email containing a downloadable file for a pdf version of Recipes & Regalings and (I believe) a separate email containing a zip file with the bookmark and adventurer's card (front and back) files. If you have trouble finding it, or run into any issues with it, please let me know.

To my backers who have received your physical copy, if your book arrived damaged or missing the bookmarks/adventurer's card or anything else, please message me as well and/or email pictures of the damaged book to [email protected]. The wonderful postal service can be rough sometimes with packages, and I don't want anyone stuck with a damaged product you paid for.

To the remaining backers STILL waiting for your copy! First, I'm sorry that it's taking so long and I know the feeling of being left out when everyone else seems to be enjoying what you should be as well. We were unfortunately shorted by our manufacturer in their last shipment to us and we're waiting for the remaining books to be delivered to us. I've been promised they will be at our doorstep before the 20th. So fingers crossed on that.

In the last update I mentioned how McKenzie and I were invited to the FanX convention in Salt Lake City, we're no longer planning on attending because we want to be present when the books are delivered and work to fulfill those to you as quickly as we can. Getting out these orders to you has been our priority since the end of the Kickstarter and we intend to see it through to the end.

Books are going out the door everyday!

TLDR: Books are going out in waves everyday! And we're so encouraged by your responses.

Hello dear Backers! It's been "a day or so" since the last update, and I'm trying to keep up with these updates as much as necessary.

As promised, here are some pictures of the packaging process.

So like the TLDR says, we're sending out waves of several hundred books out a day. Myself along with McKenzie's parents have been working non-stop to get these out to you. McKenzie, due to her illnesses isn't able to help as much now that the signing books are done.

We have gone through almost 100 boxes about of the 240 we were sent, and are getting them packaged and out the door as quickly as we can.

Thank you all again so much for your encouragement and patience! It's been truly TRULY encouraging to see your response if you've already received your copy, and the grace from the MANY of you still excitedly waiting.

4800 Delivered at our Door! Books are going out in waves as quickly as possible!

TLDR: We're packaging and shipping 4800 copies of the cookbook (for both signed and unsigned tiers). They will be going out in waves as quickly as possible. Expect the ebook in your emails around the 15th!

Hello friends! Yesterday, McKenzie and I were delivered 4800 copies of the cookbook on 5 pallets! So we, along with her wonderful parents, spent the day unloading, and signing over 300 copies for the remaining signed orders, as well as begin packaging orders for the unsigned tier backers.

I know many of you are excited and anxious to receive your order, and I've been there! It's so close! Lol When the shipping label for your order has been printed, you should receive an email saying so. If you haven't yet, then your order will be done soon. Again, they will be going out in waves, but we are moving as efficiently as we can. (Getting through 4800 individual copies will take some time haha!)

We did expect to have ALL of our books arrive, but with manufacturing and the many moving parts that entails, there will be another shipment arriving soon (hopefully around the 15th) with the remaining 1,500 copies.

Expect your ebooks and downloadable copies of the adventurer's card and bookmark to be in your inboxes around the 15th! I know a defined date puts a hard expectation on it, but I'm confident we'll be able to get it out to you around then! Thank you, again, for your patience! It truly TRULY means the world as I'm learning a LOT of new things and wanting to make this as  efficient as possible while keeping you all informed.

I'll post pictures and videos in an future update as soon as I can! (Probably within the next day or two) So you can see a bit of the process that's going on.

Signed Copies Have Started Shipping!

TLDR: Signed Copies have started to Ship! Ebooks will be delivered right after signed copies have gone out. More books are being delivered to us to be packaged and shipped out to you!

Hello, dear Backers! A wonderful update today! We've started shipping out signed copies of Recipes & Regalings to backers! They will be going out as quickly and efficiently as we're able to and we appreciate your patience.

Our manufacturer is sending us a load of around 5000 more copies (out of our total of 8000) this weekend for us to unload, package, and send out to you! So weather and postal service permitting, many of you will be receiving your copies within the month! (You cannot believe how grateful I am that we're still on time with our delivery goals. Personally, that's been a major stress factor these past months. LOL)

McKenzie and I wanted to prioritize the signed copies going out, and with that being said we will be sending out the link for your ebooks right after the signed copies have left our doors. We still have about 260 or so more books to sign, which shouldn't take long honestly, and then we'll be releasing the digital downloads for you! We appreciate your understanding and patience.

Thank you once again for your support and ultimately your grace with us as we're learning and adapting to all that is it to create, produce, and ship this book to you!

TLDR: We're locking in addresses on Friday, August 11th. Please finalize your address as we get close to delivery.

Hello, friends! Hope you're staying cool and hydrated this HOT summer!

We're a week out from receiving 8000 copies of "Recipes and Regalings" from our printers (according to their estimates). So we want to make sure we're on top of things that we can get done as well.

Like the tldr says, we're locking in addresses on completed surveys at the end of this week. This will allow us to get shipping labels printed and be ahead of the ball when we receive the books. Once we have the books in shop, we're signing, sealing, and setting them on their way to you!

What you need/can do: You have until August 11th to confirm/finalize your address on your BackerKit survey. If you need to readjust or check, you can do that through the survey that was sent to you (even if you completed it.)

If you have NOT received or can't find your survey: First, check your inbox for emails from BackerKit regarding this Kickstarter campaign. If you don't see it, please send me a direct message on Kickstarter and we'll get you sorted. Leaving a comment on this update works too, but sometimes I don't get the notifications like direct messages.

If you used Apple ID Private Relay when signing up for Kickstarter and haven't yet received the survey, please direct message me the email address you'd like your survey sent to. For some reason the surveys aren't able to be sent to the Private Relay email address, so sending me a direct email address will allow me to send the survey directly to you.

I will be checking my messages and this update regularly to help everyone that needs it. I know this part of campaigns can be stressful especially if you're moving and such.

E-Book Update: The ebook version of the cookbook is done and it looks amazing! We will be sending these out around the same time we are delivering physical copies. They will be sent to your email addresses to download straight to your devices.

If you backed just the e-book, you'll be some of the first to see the stories and recipes! If you backed both physical and digital, I hope the digital version will bring excitement and anticipation to see it in tangible hardback!

Final Things: We're still well on track to have these books out for delivery in September. Which I'm very grateful for. We'll keep you updated when we receive the books and start packaging. But as for now, if you've already completed your survey and address, you're all set! If you need to update something, you have until August 11th before we lock in addresses and start printing labels.
